Per Roto Grinders, they are predicting that the TEN @ JAX, NYJ @ BUF, CAR @ TB, DAL @ PHI, MIA @ CLE, and ATL @ WAS all either will see rain at some point during the game or have a likelihood of raining. Wind will also be a huge factor and most of these games. With the MIA @ CLE game, potentially seeing winds throughout the game from 15 mph to 25 mph. Gusts are set to reach about 35+ after the second half.
The stars might just be aligning for Aaron Rodgers to break history this weekend. He is just one passing touchdown away from 500 passing touchdowns in his career. Now, I mentioned start aligning, and that wouldn’t just be the case for Rodgers. Davante Adams caught Aaron Rodgers 200th – passing touchdown as a rookie back in 2014. Then in 2020, Adams caught Rodgers 400th passing touchdown. Now today, Adams will look to catch Rodgers 500th TD. He is currently on a 4-game TD streak and a 7-game streak with 5 receptions or more.
Davante Adams former team that traded him to the Jets earlier this season, had some issues getting to New Orleans yesterday. Their flight was scheduled to leave yesterday morning. After some problems with the plane, they were forced to wait for another plane so they could swap into it. They didn’t arrive until about 12 hours before kickoff.
The Broncos OT loss to the Bengals on Saturday, that opens up the door for the Dolphins, Colts, and Bengals to all potentially sneak their way into that final AFC WIld Card playoff spot. Lots of things will need to happen for it, but still worth mentioning that there is a chance.
Falcons Rookie QB Michael Penix Jr, who is coming off of an engagement, will look to keep the Falcons playoff chances alive on Sunday Night Football. First, they will all need to huddle around the TV in the locker room and hope Tampa Bay loses. You can read all about the rest of the clinching scenarios in a story released earlier in the week, here.
Saquon Barkley is only 162 yards, to join the very small club of running backs to reach 2000 rushing yards on the season. He would be the ninth RB to do so, joining O.J Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders, Terrell Davis, Jamal Lewis, Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Derrick Henry. Barkley is also 267 rushing yards away from breaking the all-time rushing record, set by Eric Dickerson. Barkley is only 267 yards away from breaking Dickerson’s 2105 yards set in 1984.
The battle for the Top 5 Draft Picks is starting to heat up, as currently as things stand before games get started. The Giants would get the first pick, followed by the Patriots, then the Jaguars, Titans and the Browns. But the reason this Top 5 has picked up steam, is the Jaguars and the Titans play today. Which with a win, would more than likely move them out of the Top 5, and potentially not be able to draft who they previously had their eyes on.
You can see the full NFL draft order that gets updated after every game here, with the help of Tankathon.
