Talking to a friend of mine who has been a lifelong hockey fan gives major respect towards Ovechkin. Saying that most of his old teammates around him on the ice wanted to be like Alex.

“I definitely knew lots of kids that wanted to be like Ovechkin though, always wanted to be as fast as him, move the puck like him, dangle like him, always.
