As we head into the final fourth-eight hours until the Trade Deadline officially passes, there is still one more day of games to get through. After those, some teams who are on the bubble will have a clearer picture of their plans for the deadline.

Now for some teams like the Cubs, it’s easy, all they are looking for is starting pitching, but for teams like the Guardians, who are dealing with the Clase situation. That have forced them to approach this deadline differently then they were planning too. The Guardians have made Steven Kwan and Shane Bieber available in trade conversations. They have also said they are ‘ready for anything’, which im not sure if that means if everyone is available or not, but I’ve heard Bieber’s name and Kwan’s name a lot.

Among the teams interested in Steven Kwan are the Dodgers, Blue Jays, Phillies and Padres. While multiple scouts were at Shane Bieber’s rehab start after his surgery from Tommy John.

The Houston Astros have serious interest in Dylan Cease, Willi Castro from the Twins, Jesus Sanchez from the Marlins and Jake McCarthy from the Dbacks. As well as Carlos Correa from the Twins, Nolan Arenado from St.Louis and Eugenio Suarez from the Diamondbacks.

Carlos Correa has reportedly told his friends that he’d waive his no trade clause for a return to Houston.

The Astros have been completely depleted with injuries, including to three of their big stars, including Yordan Alvarez, Jeremy Peña and Isaac Paredes. Now the Padres will only trade Dylan Cease if it warranted a return to their MLB roster currently.

Cease is also a free agent at the end of this year so for any team who trades for him, he is most likely a rental and will enter free agency next season.

The Astros also expect the returns of right-handed pitchers, Spencer Arrighetti, Luis Garcia, Cristian Javier and J.P France from some long injury rehab.

Astros are looking for a LH bat, and either a 2B, 3B or OF. As well as a 2-4 starter who can play behind Framber Valdez and Hunter Brown in their rotation.

With the Miami Marlins in the middle of the rebuild, it is believed that the Marlins will make Sandy Alcantara and Edward Cabrera available in trade conversation; Miami is asking for a decent prospect out of Alcantara and have already made it clear that if a team doesn’t meet that price, then they will trade him in the offseason or during next year’s deadline.

The Nationals are expected to be sellers this deadline, with two pitchers headlining those available, and one of those might be a huge surprise. Michael Soroka has likely pitched his last game in a Nationals jersey, as the team was ready to scratch him from his start in case trade talks started heating up.

The Nats have also made MacKenzie Gore available in trade talks, now any team who would trade for him would need to provide a huge prospect haul. But regardless, there are some teams who have called the Nats asking for more information, those teams are the Cubs and the Yankees.

The Phillies, Mets, Dodgers, Mariners and many others have made a high-leverage reliever their top priority this deadline. But now with Emmanuel Clase getting placed on disciplinary leave, the market has changed completely, according to a source.

It is said that teams could be willing to offer more than expected due to how the market is and the lack of high-leverage relievers.

Eugenio Suarez from the Arizona Diamondbacks was hit in the hand by a pitch recently, and as all the GM’s around the league held their breath, Suarez got X-rays, which came back negative. More testing was concluded yesterday on Tuesday which all came back negative as well. All that means is that Eugenio Suarez is still available in trade talks, among those interested are, the Mariners, Tigers, Cubs, Tigers, Brewers and the Phillies.

The Diamondbacks are asking for three top prospects from teams in return for Eugenio Suarez.

Dbacks have also made Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, Lourdes Gurriel Jr and Jake McCarthy available in trade talks.

The Diamondbacks do wanna trade only one SP this deadline, and have made it aware that truly no one is untouchable, as long as the right haul comes across the phone.

Bear Sports News is starting to track something interesting, as we head into the final hours of the Trade Deadline, and that is the Texas Rangers. Since 2022, the Texas Rangers have gone over the luxury-tax threshold.

Now, as a third time offender, they would be taxed at 50% per dollar spent over the threshold. But if they stay below the 241m, it gets reset to 20%. Now, with the Rangers within striking distance of playoffs, it’s inevitable they will go over the tax. Now the Rangers are looking for a high leverage reliever, and a right handed bat this deadline. But if they do indeed wanna stay below the tax threshold, they may need to include Adolis Garcia into trade conversations. The Rangers are interested in Ryan Helsley or David Bednar and definitely will be a team to watch as we inch ever closer to the deadline.

MLB insiders believe that there is a high possibility that the Orioles move on from Ryan O’Hearn, Charlie Morton and Zach Eflin. JP Sears from the Athletics is also expected to be dealt.

Robert Suarez from the Padres has gained heavy interest and it is believed that he will be dealt this deadline to the number of teams who have made a high-leverage reliever their priority this Trade Deadline.

If the stars align, the Minnesota Twins may be opening up their doors for a fire sale. Among those included could be Harrison Bader, Joe Ryan, and Willi Castro; among those interested are the Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Phillies and the Mariners.

The Luis Robert Jr situation has just became more clear as more dust continues to settle. Sources say that the White Sox are asking for a Top-10 prospect from anyone who trades for him. If they do not meet that asking price, they will just keep him for 2026 and pick up him 20m option.

Padres, Phillies and the Mets believe they are bluffing and believe they will ultimately trade Robert Jr before Thursday’s deadline.

Braves have made Raisiel Iglesias and Marcell Ozuna available in trade conversations. Don’t expect the Braves to sell any of their long-term players either as their aspirations for 2026 are still high. The Braves wouldn’t say no though if the right offer came across the phone.

All though this would never happen, the Yankees have said they will only trade Spencer Jones, if it meant receiving Paul Skenes in return. Yankees still remain interested in David Bednar, Mitch Keller, Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Andrew Heaney.

The Mets are considering Luis Robert Jr and Cedric Mullins as potential upgrades to their centerfield. The belief from sources is that Ramon Laureano may likely be moved, with the Reds having interest towards Laureano

RHP Camilo Doval from the Giants has generated a good amount of interest heading into Thursday’s deadline
